Guru Soundtrack : Good Melodies.

The songs remind me of the charm ARR seemed to be loosing these days. After the not so good songs of Godfather/Varaluru he did make a good comeback with SOK.

Teaming up with the ace director Mani Ratnam,Rahman has always brought out his best. This album lives upto that standards. The rustic rythms reminiscent of a by-gone era does takes one to the Village.

But the theme and promos does make one feel the effect of Iruvar. The colour scheme , the setting makes it similar to the Tamil Movie.. not sure about the story though..
